Use Check a Commonwealth Licensee to see if a business or individual has a valid license or permit. 

The move to the new licensing system for the Division of Occupational Licensure, eLIPSE, is complete for multiple DOL boards.  The following DOL boards must use the new eLIPSE platform for all licensing related functions.

• Board of Registration of Architects
• Board of Registration in Embalming and Funeral Directing
• Board of Registration of Landscape Architects
• Board of Public Accountancy
• Board of Registration of Real Estate Appraisers
• Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters
• Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons
• Board of Certification of Operators of Drinking Water Supply Facilities
• Board of Registration of Massage Therapy 
• Board of Examiners of Sheet Metal Workers
• All other applicants must use the ePlace portal.

As of January 1st, 2023, the Health Licensing boards have transitioned to DPH. A search of this database related to those boards will produce inaccurate license information.
